Golden Gate Park

I'm very lucky to live right down the street from here. I bring my son here nearly everyday because we don't have a backyard...this is it! We walk all over this park and I'm always, always amazed at how beautiful it is. It inspires me everytime and will cure any bad mood :)

Lovely Fabric Haul

I finally made it out to my favorite fabric store in the Sunset, Peapod Fabrics. The owner had recently been to Japan and had brought in a nice selection of Japanese fabrics...including a Richard Scarry print! My son was delighted as he reads his Richard Scarry books the most(just like me when I was his age :) The owner offers the best selection of fabrics at great prices...I seriously heart this place.

Zippered Pouch

Well, I'm pretty pleased with myself :) I took a class at the wonderful Peapod Fabrics over in the Sunset and learned to make a zippered pouch! It was totally fun and easy to learn. I'm now a zippered pouch making machine and I'm churning'em out. If you have a chance, get over to Peapod Fabrics and pick up some beautiful and inspiring fabric. She has really great prices and carries Amy Butler, Alexander Henry, Joel Dewberry and more.

Hiking in Marin County

We went hiking the day after thanksgiving. We went to Redcreek trail and it was positively magical! We were originally heading to Muir Woods but it was overly crowded. We drove down from there and found this trail and hiked all the way to Muir Beach....beautiful!
